The central idea of my concentration is a wordless comic authored and illustrated around a story and characters of my own creation. My main focus with my concentration was to convey a story and emotions to viewers through illustrations alone, without the need for text. The story I created involves two young adults escaping from their oppressive and sheltered society, and details the adventures and experiences they have after their successful attempt to run away. Their journey leads them to situations and places they were completely unprepared for, and in the process, forces them to grow emotionally.
